The following actions can be chosen from the File menu selection:

File menu selection

New...
The "New..." option will create a new HTML document in the first available edit window.

Open...
The "Open" option allows you to open a previously created file into the SiteAid edit window, using the "Common Dialog" style box. This is the standard method of opening files for windows applications.
[Back to File Menu]

Save
The "Save" option allows you to automatically call the save function for the active edit window. If the file is previously unsaved, this button will call the "Save as" functionality.
[Back to File Menu]

Save as...
The "Save as..." option will save the file in the active edit window as a new file, using the standard windows dialog. It will also close the old file, and open the new file for editing in the same edit window.
[Back to File Menu]

Save all...
The "Save all..." option allows you to automatically call the save function for all files in the edit window. If a file is previously unsaved, this selection will call the "Save as" functionality.
[Back to File Menu]

Close
The "Close" option calls the close function, only for the active edit window. If the file has been modified, the program will ask you if you would like to save the file before you close that window. This works both if the file has been saved previously or not. Below is the dialog box as it will appear if the file needs saved, and had not been previously saved.

Close All
The "Close all" option calls the close function for all active edit windows. If any of the files have been modified, the program will ask you if you would like to save the file before you close that window. This works both if the file has been saved previously or not. The above dialog box will appear if the file needs saved, and had not been previously saved.

Print
The "Print" option will make a call to the Print dialog, allowing the user to print the HTML code or text file that is present inside the active edit window. This will not print the page as it is shown in "Browse" mode.
[Back to File Menu]

Exit
The "Exit" option will terminate SiteAid. It will provide you with an opportunity to save any unsaved edit windows before the program terminates.
